We have been a family based company since 1978.
Plan a summer vacation with Ashnola Guide Outfitters and see the most unique high country in British Columbia. Travel by horseback into the alpine wilderness, visiting glacier fed lakes filled with cutthroat, rainbow and speckled trout. View the different varieties of wildlife such as California Bighorn Sheep, mule deer, black bear, and many smaller species.
See the mountain meadows filled with wild flowers, giving them a natural beauty that can only be seen in the high country. Smell the bacon and eggs cooking over a campfire on an early clear mountain morning. These are some of the things you will experience on this mountain wilderness trip by horseback.
Our Services
Summer pack trips
Ashnola Horse Trips offers a 5 day 4 night trip into the alpine of Ashnola. We have two cabins at each of our stops. We have the bunk house for our guests. While we have the cook house for our guides. All of your meals are prepared for you. It is a 6 hour ride into our first cabin stop. There is beautiful scenery to see on short daily rides once you arrive at the cabin. We are flexible with adjustments for number of people and number of days.
Trail rides
If the 5 day summer pack trip into the mountains isn’t for you. We offer trail rides as well. The trail rides are as long or short as you would like them. Our base price is $250 for the first person and discounts available for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
High country cabins
Our cabins are steel structured and mouse and bear proof.

Our Team
You will be in very experienced hands. We offer only the gentlest horses to our guests. We use Quarter horse Percheron cross horses. They are strong enough for the mountains and gentle natured.

We have spent our whole lives around horses and have a horse training business as well. We are very passionate about the horses and the being in the mountains.
